I have found one incident on the internet study an article about kingfisher airlines booking which i found interetsing to add in my wordpress blog which is mestion below:

There is this incedent which happened with me a few days back which has made
me loose all my trust on the airlines specially kingfisher airlines and
ticket booking websites specially makemytrip.com.
My sister is studing at Managlore and she was travelling from Delhi to
Managalore. She had booked the tickets 2 weeks back from the date of travel
through MakeMyTrip.com it was connecting flight. From Delhi to Bombay
spicejet and then from Bombay to Mangalore Kingfisher Red. She reached
bombay comfortably and had next flight at 4 PM but what happened there was
totally unacceptable. The kingfisher flight to managalore was cancelled.
When she approached the kingfisher officials they were least bothered and
said that there did not exist such a flight and they don’t fly to
managalore. What a shame the *tickets were booked for a flight which did not
exist at all.* My sister was new to Bombay and didn’t know anyone there she
was stranded and no one was ready to listen to her. They told her that the
next flight was jet airways at 9 AM next morning. They did not even bother
to make some arrangements for her to stay. The kingfisher officials were not
even responding and acting so snobish and rude. This is not at all expected
from them. How can they leave their customer stranded for the entire night
at an unknow place that too when the entire fault was their’s. This incedent
has really shocked me a lot. We had to undergo such a mental stress all time
worring about my little sister. Fingfisher kept blaming it on makemytrip and
vice versa. Where do you go in such a situation. The trauma of this incedent
has shaked everyone in my family.
Such things are unethical the customer who has paid for eveything and is
travellin buy air just to be comfortable in his journey is being tortured in
such ways. These airlines dont understand their responsiblities. I am
totally frustrated with this. They need to be taught a lesson or else they
keep doing such things and harssing the customers.
Can you please take it forward or suggest me some alternative what can be
done in such a situation. Where should I go and speak up my grievences.
I am annoyed, furious, frustrated and highly unsatisfied with the services
of kingfisher and makemytrip. Please help me. I want some justice.

Kingfisher Airlines adds 52 lakh shares in OI

Kingfisher Airlines ended up 6% with a buildup of 52 lakh shares in open interest for the October series. IFCI ended down nearly 1.7% with a buildup of nearly 3 crore shares in open interest.

In the last few days there was some unwinding pressure coming from 5,000-5,100 but slowly we saw today there was some short covering happening throughout the day. At one point of time we were trading at a 10-15% discount and at the end we would just see October futures ended at around 15 month premium clearly signifying that there has been a huge short covering seen in the futures.

The next series remains at 4,900 as base because that is the level used for trading the Nifty in the next series and on the upper side its 5,100 which is the region which is worked 4,900-5,100 in the next series.

Stock specifics Kingfisher Airlines, ended up 6% with a good buildup happening in the next series, nearly 52 lakh is the addition, which we saw in the October series and a good rollover of nearly 80%, after a long time we have seen airline stocks which such a good roll.

Also the PSU banks starting form Vijaya bank, Dena Bank, UCO Bank all the stocks which are flaring up any where between 5-10% saw a huge buildup happening in. Vijaya Bank was up nearly 6.5% with a good buildup of nearly 58 lakh shares happening in and you can see mammoth rollovers on all these PSU banks at around 87%.

JP Associates is one stock where we saw short covering happening in the day. During the day it was down 3% but it ended up nearly 1.5%, it recovered nearly 4.5% from the day’s low and we saw a buildup of nearly 70 lakh shares happening in, the rollovers also pushed up to 75% on this stock.

Jet Airways, Kingfisher to raise Rs 2,500 crore

Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines will raise $500 million (around Rs 2,500 crore) between them to meet expansion plans and working capital requirements. Of this, Jet will account for a lion’s share with $400 million (Rs 2,000 crore) and will explore various financing options such as QIP, GDRs, ADRs and FCCBs. The company will hold an extraordinary general meeting in Mumbai on September 24 to seek shareholder approval for this move

The Vijay Mallya-promoted Kingfisher airlines booking plans to raise $100 million (Rs 500 crore). Earlier in July, the Kingfisher board had already decided to raise Rs 500 crore through a right issue.

Jet Air, pilots’ union called for talks

Both Jet and Kingfisher have found the going tough lately thanks to high aviation fuel costs coupled with falling passenger traffic. Cost-control initiatives such as fewer flights, cutting down on and increasing fares have really not helped their cause. The only way out is to reduce sales tax on ATF but most states are in no mood to oblige as this would affect their revenues.
